I think I have made my opinions on the lameness of Twitter very well known in the past, but lately I have gotten several emails from SubEx readers asking if I had a Twitter account, if they could be a follower, if I frequently tweeted, etc. My gut tells me to stay strong, that if US Senators have accounts then its time has passed and that it can no longer ever be considered cool again. Am I way out of line here? Chris Cornell lost so much of his dark rockstar mystique the day he opened his account, but then again as a blogger I have very little in the way of mystique. In a sense, would anyone even be interested in reading SubEx Tweets? What it boils down to is that I've added a poll to the top right sidebar, and I'm asking everyone to put in their 2-cents. I am going to leave it up for 1 week, and leaving my Twittering future up to the masses.
Thanks in advance for understanding and for helping us out in such a confusing time in SubEx's history.

i have a twitter account but i have never used it. i joined because a fellow blogger asked me to. the thing is, there are a bunch of people following me on it and every time i get a notice of someone else following it i feel guilty, because i've never twitted and don't intend to. i should just cancel my account but now i'm kind of curious as to who is following me, even though i don't actually care.
does that make any sense at all?? don't answer that!
