Head over to Mad Decent and pick this up! Pay-what-you-want is becoming standard practice for a lot of musical acts, and it's typically artists/bands who have some really good shit to drop on your noggin. God love 'em!
I actually got a promo of this CD like 8 months ago at SXSW (OMG SCENE CRED!), and I can assure you it's really solid Southern Rap, with a touch of class that only Diplo can provide. Highlights include dirty south tracks with samples of Weezer's "My Name is Jonas" and George Michael's "Careless Whisper." Pay $5 or more and you get bonus tracks! Support the music and musicians you love, my friends. I can't stress this enough.

I would think doing the "pay what you want" thing isn't such a good idea for little known acts. It just doesn't seem like a good economic idea. But, that's just me. They should do a scaled pay system, $5 for low-fi version, more for better quality. Again, that's just me.
I disagree, an artist like Diplo gets more hype from bloggers than from radio and makes most of his money from his live dj sets. I dare say if this released a month ago he might have been able to keep his Palladium gig instead of getting bumped upstairs to the Loft. If it weren't for bloggers people like Diplo, GirlTalk, etc. wouldn't even be famous in the first place. And the does offer a higher quality version AS WELL AS bonus tracks if you pay just $5. Just my 2 cents.
