I had the privileged yesterday of speaking with the best rapper in Dallas. Anonymous???? was excited about finishing his first full-length album (due out in early '09) and also about his latest mixtape "Anonymous Files Volume 1" which can be downloaded for free on his myspace page or by clicking the link at the bottom of this post. The tape was put together by DJ Smack, as you'll soon find out by listening to any track from the tape (he drops a 'best dj in the woooooooorld' at least once on every cut), a claim which he never really lives up to. But don't let him ruin it for you, the real standout here is Anonymous with his tremendous MC skills, vocal prowess, and clean rhymes. I especially appreciate anyone that can rap over Cutting Crew and make it sound fresh.
